Hankook Tire Receives Red Dot Award 2020 for Design Excellence
Leading global tire maker Hankook Tire has been recognized by one of the world’s most prestigious design awards, the Red Dot Award 2020, for multiple products in the product design discipline –Hankook Dynapro AT2, Hankook Dynapro MT2 and Hankook i*pike RS2. The Red Dot Award recognizes industry leaders who have designed the best and innovative products of the year.
Receiving awards for all-terrain, off-road and winter tires, Hankook once again proved its competency all around. Hankook Dynapro AT2 is an all-terrain tire that delivers a superior blend of all-around performance. The Dynapro AT2 boasts an innovative multi-directional tread design that ensures stronger traction in wet, winter and even in off-road conditions, while further decreasing road noise and increasing ride comfort. With its unique Terrain Strike Tread Design, the Hankook Dynapro MT2 is Hankook’s most capable and extreme off-road tire. With an aggressive, high-void tread pattern, the tire is optimized for traction in mud, dirt, rock, sand and gravel surfaces. These two tires have undergone improvements in design that has had a positive effect on their performance.

Hankook also received recognition for one of its winter tires, Hankook i*pike RS2, which is currently available in Europe. The Nordic studded winter tire features greatly improved grip performance to maximize driving safety on snowy and icy roads.
Hankook has a long history of being recognized for its excellence in design by some of the world’s most reputable international design awards including the iF Design Award and the International Design Excellence Award (IDEA). Hankook first received the Red Dot Award in 2001 and has since gained significant accomplishments.
